What blooms all season?

I belong to my condo association's little garden committee. We have a budget of about $300 to plant flowers. The main garden area will be done in impatiens, but I'd like to experiment with some new things in some of the smaller beds. What else has long-lasting blooms? Most of the beds are partial shade, though a couple are pretty sunny.

Petunias, notably supertunias are great for sunny beds as is callibrachoa which is a petunia relative.
But for shade, you can't beat impatiens for an annual....however some of the many varieties of hosta will guve you interest and color even when they are not blooming and Kong Coleus is very colorful.
