New to Gardening

Want to hire gardener to help

I bought a house with a beautiful 25 x 6 cottage garden, as well as some landscaping around the perimeter of the yard. I desperately need help with the landscaping--I think some plants need to be moved, I need to figure out what are weeds, etc. Can anyone recommend a gardener in the Chicago area who loves flowers and would be willing to help me find my green thumb for not too much $. Thanks.

Many landscape designers will come and do a consult and teach you the basics. If they won't move the shrubs themselves, they may be able to hook you up with someone who can.

Are you looking for a laborer or a designer....
A designer will not "help you find your green thumb"....but will make sure you notice his/hers...
A laborer will need your guidance....but be willing to do the work.
Do you want someone's exepertise....or muscle?
