Identify a shrub seen in Egypt

Posted by dressmaker (My Page) on

I planted some seeds collected from a shrub, they were in a kind of pea pod that split open, each seed having a thin membrane around it which would have caught the wind. The leaves are serrated and grow either side of the stem. I think they are about 4/6 inches long when fully grown. The flowers were yellow, a bit tubular in shape and grew in a bunch. The shrub grew to a height of 5/6 feet. Please does anyone have any idea what it is called. I do have a photo but it is not very clear

My first guess would be for Cassia...

Thank you for your help, I just need the plants to grow a bit bigger & flower then I will be able to confirm that it is Cassia. I have looked at images of Cassia and it does look like it.
