I have planted pumpkins (3 plants) and all the fruit(?) is rotting as soon as it gets to a size smaller than a lemon. I noticed today that the flowers are falling off too. It sits right beside the spinkler system for our lawn, could it be getting too much water?

Lack of pollination. But you can be the bee and transfer pollen to the female flowers (the ones with the "baby" pumpkin already present).
