| Serissa is often a topic on the bonsai forum (fondly known as Old Stinky...) and they'd probably welcome in a newbie with great glee. It is known to drop leaves, particularly as seasons change and light levels. Sort of like changing coats. It may also need feeding and the bonsai folk can advise you on what would be best for your climate/growing situation. |
