New to Gardening

Help me name this Plant...PLease!!

I have a pretty bush...in late May early June it had delicate purple flowers all over it....now it has these black seed pods all over it...I'm trying to figure out what these are so I know what to call the seeds...lol...

there are 7 pictures in all the ones of the purple flowers were of the plant on June 3rd....the seed pod pictures I took today.

I don't believe it I actually got this one on my own!!!

I live in the south, so I am not sure and I am relying on pictures I have seen only, but my best guess would be baptista. Check out this link http://opgc.osu.edu/section.php?id=54
