New to Gardening

tomato/pepper seedlings

I planted some tomato and pepper seeds from vegetables I had gotten at the store. They are growing now....the tomatoes are about 1 inch tall and the peppers about 1/2 that size. When should I plant them into their own pots? They are several per pot right now(a couple inches apart).

When they get the second set of true leaves. (The first leaves are cotyledons or seed leaves and not true leaves.)
