Hello Everyone!

Hi everyone, I'm new to gardening and have learned so much from Gardenweb forums the past few months. I was going to plant a few beds this fall but decided to wait til spring so I could trench compost and really get some decent soil first, as I have clay and rock. I also discovered how to grow from kitchen scraps,my kitchen window is now home to 6 gr.onion plants, sweet potato, 3 different onion bottoms and celery, ALL from scraps! It's fun and amazing :) I call myself half and half because I have half green thumb half brown thumb lol (Real name is Christine)I figured if I could grow orchads and not kill them then I could start a veggie garden. Haven't killed an orchad in the 4 years I've had them,5 different kinds. Beautiful! Off to dig in the dirt.

Sounds like fun! I love GW too (except that back-to-school ad jumping up at the bottom of ALL pages today.) Good luck with the veggies!
