Finally, after a couple of dismal years in which we only had one or two pumpkins, this year we have more. Not a whole bunch, but enough to satisfy the grandkids. I need to know if it is OK to stand them up, rather than leave them on their sides or whatever position they started growing in. My husband says to leave them alone, but I was thinking that if we propped them up, they would look better after harvest. Also, either way, is there something we should be putting underneath them so they don't rot. Any help, please!!!
