| I bought a house with Pecan Trees that were growing out of, and lifting, the home foundation. After professional removal and clearing of stumps, the trees keep sprouting all over the yard. Does anyone know how I can eliminate the regrowth/sprouting of new trees in preparation of landscaping? Help!
I have dug and cut some roots to 4' depths and the pecans still sprout up months later. |

| Re-cut the roots, then *immediately* paint the surface of the cut stub with an herbicide containing the active ingredient triclopyr. It's very possible that killing the roots will require several seasons of repeat treatments. |

| or pour a bag or sugar on it & water well. cheaper & greener. |
