Garden Care After Frost

Rachel

This summer, my children and I started our first flower bed as a nature project. We planted four o' clocks. They have grown beautifully. However, we recently had a frost and all of the foliage has wilted and turned a brownish color. I was wondering if it is okay for me to cut the plants back or should I leave the "sad" looking foliage as it is for the plants to continue receiving nutrients before the impending doom of winter?
