Unplanted Tulip Expirations?

| Hi, I'm an advanced gardener actually, but nowhere else to post this that I could find. I've just planted 4000 tulips on new property, and now want to take advantage of huge sales. Will tulips/daffs carry over for planting until next fall if kept dry, dark and cool? Any idea how many years they actually may last if not planted for a while? Thanks greatly for any info. |

They will shrivel if not planted. They need to grow leaves soon in order to recharge the bulbs. |

| Thanks much....I thought I'd seen an expiration date on a pack once so wasn't sure. |
