Spongy yellow thing on my window??

Hi, today I noticed something yellow on the concrete part of my window, it looked very disgusting and to be honest, kind of creepy. Like a alien nest or something :-D

I knocked it down with a stick and it fell onto the grass below my window. It was raining so after it stopped raining I went outside and took a photo of it, so this is a photo of it wet. Not sure what it looks like when it's dry.

About 2 hours later I looked through my window and could not see it anywhere. (it was raining terribly during those 2 hours so I wonder if it melted?? or something).
Now I'm creeped out and don't wanna open my window.

Can someone PLEASE help me identify what it is???

Tough to say what it is. My first inclination is to suggest a dead something, perhaps a very fleshy leaf?

If it's still there, collect it -- use gloves, tongs, whatever -- and discard it.

Could it be (or have been) the seed of a fruit that was discarded?
