Q:
when using a self watering pot for plants, do I need a plant saucer underneath?
If I NEED one, I have no qualms about buying one for each of my plants...but if I don't, then why buy?

I am considering transplanting all my veggies & herbs into self watering pots, for I feel it may be easier for me to keep them watered without drowning them.

Right now, most of them are in some sad shape because either I forget to water them when they need it, or I end up drowning them....

Any & all help is most appreciated.
