| Forgive my naivete in asking this, but I'm new to ordering plants online: do online outlets ever have deals in December? I heard once that you can get great deals by ordering plants in December and the outlet will ship them at the proper time. They get money during a dead time of year, and you get a discount. I've checked some individual sites but they seem to only be selling holiday items. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm interested in getting strawberry plants for the spring. Thank you. |

| I've never heard of such a thing. These companies plan for their down time. Selling future plants at discount prices when they can charge premium prices at planting time makes zero business sense. The best time to get bargains is towards the end of the season. They don't want to be faced with disposing of plants. |
