starting seeds

I haven't been able to plant a garden for several years because of health issues. I'm ready to go again this year but I don't remember when to start my tomato and pepper seeds indoors. I live in Essex county and will be planting in Earthboxes (if that makes a difference). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

RE: starting seeds

Peppers can be started in February because they make fairly slow progress indoors. Tomatoes can wait until mid March.
