Not familiar with these plants. Would this link be what you are talking about? What is the botanical name for Mother of Pearl. Several plants come up in a search.

njdjs - just go to any Home Depot and look for the "Hindu Rope" - it is a Hoya. A company called "Exotic Angels" tends to supply HDs, Walmarts, super markets, etc., with various houseplants and that hoya is often found at those places. Similarly, EA supplies the "String of Pearls" plants at those places too.

Check out the Hoya Forum and meet the native Okie residents who are really into Hoyas and post there. They may be able to tell you where you can find these plants near where you live as they will drive far and wide for a hoya. LOL

THanks Jenny..I have been to every Home Depot,Lowes,Walmarts that I know of here and they don't have either one...I have even been to some in Arkansas looking...I will find them but thanks so much for your help...

I work in a home depot greenhouse/nursery. the hoya thatI afamiliar with is considered a tropical and is kept in the green house. They are not in at all times of the year, They do tend to show up around Christmas time, and they are usually in a 6" ot with a wire hoop that they are wrapped around. Not familiar with the other plant.

String of Pearls is probably Senecio rowleyanus. Both of these are probably available by mail if you can't find them locally, although they'll probably show up eventually in your Home Depot or any place that sells Exotic Angel plants. You could buy it from the link (they have 'String of Bananas' too) or just do a google search for other places that sell them.
