| I'm looking for an inexpensive source for wooden barrels for a strawberry barrel(s) and perhaps for potatoes.
Anyone have a good source in NJ (Trenton area even better)? Thanks Andrew |

| Gotta jump on board here too... I was about to post this same question. I found a complete Jim Beam whiskey barrell about 6 years ago at Wal-Mart in Mount Olive for $30. It came complete with about a gallon of whiskey still inside. Last year the metal straps finally rusted through and I haven't found a replacement since. |

| So I found my barrel.... finally. Condurso's in Montville still has 3 left. Out of the 4 I got the one in the best condition, but depending on the purpose they could be ok. If they are to be used for rain barrells they will probably need some minor repairs and to be submerged to swell up so they stay watertight. The price was a little more than I expected at $82 but still reasonable. |
