Help Identifying a vine

I sent the afternoon hacking out the back corner of my yard. There is some type of vine that comes up from the ground goes up into the trees and goes all over the place. In spots the thing is 4 or 5 inches thick. The larger sections have a light brown bark on them. It does not really wrap tightly to the tree but hangs like rope. It is not hairy. I do not believe it is poisonous but do not know for sure. The sections from the top of the trees still have green leaves still on it. Also have already yanked a ton of it out want to get rid of it . Would this be able to go through a chipper and spread around the yard? I am working hard to remove this the last thing I want to do is spread it around if it can somehow replant itself. If I am not able to chip it is it burnable? Thanks for the help Bill
