| I guess I'll plant them in with the figs and phormiums in the unheated room.
All the marginal salvias and agastaches got in there just ahead of the cold. Obviously, I'll be buying my tomato plants this year. |

| Awww, BG, but at least you found them. Is it absolutely too late to plant them outside? Monday's supposed to be in the high 50's here along the shore, the beginning of a short warm spell. What crazy weather. Would you care to elaborate on your plan? Mine are still waiting; mostly daffodils, some just purchased and others dug up late this summer for relocation ... before I got really busy with the front yard makeover, my new job, then sick with pneumonia ... I'd hate to lose all these! Diane |

| I don't think I can depend on them making root growth if I plant them outside. If I put them in the big pots in the unheated room they'll be cold enough, but the soil doesn't freeze there - at least I sure hope it doesn't! Spring semester starts in a few days - an accelerated nursing degree and four children and a husband is not a recipe for adequate gardening. |
