hummingbird salvias

I'm planning a hummingbird garden at New Jersey Audubon's Rancocas Nature Center and I need salvia suggestions for south Jersey. Currently I have Black & Blue, Leucantha, one of the Navaho Greggiis, pineapple, and uliginosa. There are several others that interst me: wild watermelon, indigo spires, and honeymelon come quickly to mind. What are people growing, and what types are surviving the winter?

On a related note, there is quite a bit of conflicting information about elegans honeymelon; does it really begin blooming in early summer? And lastly, who has the cheepest salvias; I'll be ordering a bunch and I don't want to have my spending get out of control.
