There will be a hands-on rose pruning seminar Saturday, April 2nd (rain date is Sunday, 4/3), at Wampum Park, Rt. 35 S, Eatontown (Monmouth County), NJ, starting at 9:00 AM, sponsored by the Jersey Shore Rose Society.

The park is just south of Fort Monmouth (intersection of Rt 35 and 537; exit 105 from the Garden State Parkway).

It is a "hands-on" demonstration (meaning, we'll put you to work). You'll get a chance to ask questions, practice the techniques, and see how well this garden does just feet from a major highway. Consulting Rosarians will be available to help with your rose growing issues. This is a no-spray rose garden, these roses are disease resistant and easy care.

The event is open to the public, you do not have to be a member of the rose society to attend, and there is no fee.

Come with your questions, gloves, and your bypass pruners!
