Nurseries in Union County

Hi everyone. I moved recently from the Westfield area to Rahway.

I used to use Parker and Williams nurseries, lso went to a couple of smaller ones which were very good (one in Plainfield, forget the name offhand, but the owner is very friendly and did a lot of work at my home).

Anyway, these are now a bit too far from Rahway as I may need things delivered) plus, I have personal reasons for not wanting to shop in the area (hence the move). I'd prefer to find nurseries closer to my new home; Woodbridge, Avenel, the Amboys, etc. But, not coming up with anything which looks as good as those I'm used to. I don't even remember passing anything in my travels thus far.

Any suggestions? Obviously I'd like them to be knowledgeable and reputable. I'm not going to be needing larger plantings since my new place isn't a home, it's an apartment with a large deck but I do intend on making the most of the space I have.

Thanks!

Mieles on Lake Avenue in Clark is one of my favorite places. Family owned and in business for many, many years.

Thanks jarnold. I totally forgot about Mieles. I used to pass them all the time, but never went in there. Intend to go this weekend!
