| There will be a rose pruning demonstration this coming Saturday, April 1st (rain date is Sunday, 4/2), at Wampum Park, Rt. 35 S, Eatontown (Monmouth County), NJ, starting at 1:00 PM, sponsored by the Jersey Shore Rose Society. The park is just south of Fort Monmouth (intersection of Rt 35 and 537; exit 105 from the Garden State Parkway). This is a no-spray rose garden. It is a "hands-on" demonstration. You'll get a chance to ask pruning questions, practice the techniques, and see how well this garden does just feet from a major highway. You do not have to be a member of the rose society to attend. Come with your questions and your pruners! |
