happy spring!

Hello NJ gardeners, hope everyone survived winter. I am so happy that spring is finally here, even if it is cold today. The forecast for the next few days looks good and I plan on making full use of it. Most of my roses seem to have faired quite well, I've given them their first hair cut, will be feeding them in about a week and then away we go!

I have my seedlings going down in the basement, my hollyhocks are up and going and my foxglove is coming along also. I'm waiting for my larkspur, salvia, Texas sage and coreopsis to come up. Have not started my zinnias, hyacinth bean or moon vines yet, too early for them.

How is everyone else doing?

Mel

Happy Spring! Today as the snow melted, the iris reticulata poked through...

And the first crocuses survived the snow

I am late with starting seeds. I have snapdragons, violas, calandulas and poppies going so far. More to go.
