Anyone have bamboo they want culled?

Hi,
I'm planting a garden, and am looking for bamboo to make a fence (dental floss budget). If you are willing to let me have some bamboo, I'd be more than happy to lend a shoulder and a shovel and help you get it back in bounds. I hope it's ok to post this here. Thanks.

| I have a few low-growing (1-3') groundcover bamboos if you want some. I can also find a few rhizomes of a taller 'boo. Keep in mind running bamboos will spread quickly. For a screen you may want Fargesia, a clumping bamboo, which is one I don't have extra of. |

| Steve is right, running bamboo is a very dangeous plant. It runs in every direction except through water and will quickly become a problem for your neighbors. Neighbors have been known to get lawyers and bamboo growers have landed in court. There are any number of talls grasses that will provide screens and don't get quickly out of hand. |
