| I covered my strawberry beds with straw to overwinter them; when should I pull the straw back/off to let them see the world again? I'm in the Princeton, NJ area.

| I don't generally cover my strawberries for the winter and they do wonderfully. I would assume that now is the time to do so. They'll be starting to grow now. Ellen |

| I didn't cover my strawberries either (they are planted in my rose bed more for ornamental purposes than for fruit) and they survived just fine. I would wait to uncover yours until after the bout of snow we're expected to get tonight... |
