creeping phlox question

Posted by rangers2 nj (My Page) on

Hello all!
I just literally joined the site.(first post)
I built a large retaining wall last year about 100 feet long and planted creeping phlox every 2 feet to eventually hang over the wall.
The snow just recently melted and some of the phlox are still green and a lot of them are a dark brown/black color.
Do you think the dark plants are dead?(please say no because its about 18 plants at about 12 inches round)
Thanks guys!

Mine aren't looking so good either. I'm hoping they perk up when it gets warmer. Time will tell.

So how are your phlox doing? Mine have greened up and have buds on them.
