I have looked on the web and some local nursuries but I cant seem to find a 2 year or older Korean spice. When I bought my house I found one buried in my overgrown back garden and I would like to plant one in a more travelled area in the yard.

4 nurseries that would certainly be worth calling are Triple Oaks in Franklinville, Rarefind in Jackson, Fairweather Gardens in Greenwich, and Popes near Ancora NJ. All knowledgeable people. I am familiar only with the Scientific name. If you mean V. carlesii 'Compactum', mine came from Rarefind about 6 years ago and I think they still stock them.

We got ours at Triple Oaks about five years ago. It just started blooming yesterday and it smells wonderful! Check the Triple Oaks website since Lorraine usually updates the inventory. Two other places that we've had a lot of luck with more mature plants is Bloomers in Washington Township or Dambly's in Berlin.
