Sure, my April Dawn, Red Jude both start growing.
They are only one year larger than what you bought.
But my winter flurry does not start yet. So you may
not have to warry yet.

I do see a difference within my own yard of when plants of the same type and/or species decide to go into flower or grow just because of microclimates. And the first winter is always the worst.
I always worry myself but it is still early in the season. If the existing leaves start dropping off or you see new buds drying up, then I'd worry. But since they are smaller and its their first season in the ground, give them a little more time than your older plants.
If you notice some decline, you might consider moving them back into pots in another location in the yard. I've saved one or two plants that way. Or at least delayed their demise.

Thanks for the advice. Still no new leaf buds -:(. My other camellias are putting on a nice fluch of new growth. I may just have to buy larger size camellias.
