Now Its Rabbits!

Hello everybody

I have managed a form of control with the pesky squirrels, but now another problem has surfaced. This year I started a new patch around the side of our building. I can't stick my head out to see or chase anything from there. I had 3 broccoli plants out there already (tomatoes, etc come later) and when I went out there this noon, one of the plants was completely gone. Like it had never existed. It wasn't chewed or anything like that--just gone. We do have rabbits around here, but they have never bothered my other little garden as it's right up against the building. I set some hardware cloth cages around the remaining two, and rubbed the cages with grapefruit peel which I have heard rabbits don't like. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I have very little space and the loss of one or two plants is a big impact on my gardening.

Thanks

Pat
