Hi,

Can anyone provide us with the names of plants that would do well in a mostly shaded area under a Plum Tree? (New Jersey) Preferably fast growing, as well.

The area we want to improve on and gain privacy is in the back corner of our chain link fence. The area expands directly across about 10 ft.
So we would like to purchase a few plants that could grow at least 6 ft in height and fill in the area.

One area in the back corner, receive about 2-3 hours of sun. We planted a Ruby Anniversary Abelia in the corner (which receives about 2-3 hours of sun) which isn't doing as well as the one that we planted in another area that receives more sun.

Any advice would be appreciated.
