...A FROST ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING...

AN UNSEASONABLY CHILLY AIR MASS WILL CONTINUE TO PREVAIL ACROSS THE
AREA. SKIES ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME CLEAR TONIGHT WITH LIGHT WINDS.
THE COMBINATION WILL CAUSE EXCELLENT RADIATIONAL COOLING CONDITIONS.

FROST IS EXPECTED TO FORM LATE TONIGHT AND BE FAIRLY WIDESPREAD IN
RURAL AREAS AND COLDER LOW LYING AREAS IN THE SUBURBS. IF YOU HAD
FROST TUESDAY MORNING, YOU SHOULD EXPECT MORE LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING. EVEN LOCATIONS THAT DID NOT HAVE FROST TUESDAY
MORNING MIGHT SEE SOME THURSDAY MORNING.

THERE MIGHT EVEN BE POCKETS OF LOW TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW THE
FREEZING MARK IN NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY AND THE POCONOS.

PEOPLE WITH AGRICULTURAL OR GARDENING INTERESTS IN THE ADVISED AREA
SHOULD PROTECT TENDER VEGETABLES AND FLOWERS WITH PROTECTIVE
COVERING OR DOUSING THEM WITH WATER. ALSO, POTTED PLANTS NORMALLY
LEFT OUTDOORS SHOULD BE BROUGHT INSIDE AWAY FROM THE COLD.

THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST NIGHT THAT THIS PRESENT UNSEASONABLY CHILLY
AIR MASS AFFECTS US. BUT IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR ADDITIONAL FROST TO
POSSIBLY OCCUR DEEPER INTO THIS MONTH IN COLDER AREAS OF
PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW JERSEY.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA OUTLET FOR
FURTHER DETAILS OR UPDATES.

RE: Frost warn up- Wednesday Night-Thursday

Driving to work this morning (Wed) I saw an athletic field in Cranford covered in frost! My Heliotrope and purple bell vine were out on the back porch. Fortunately there was no damage. I really don't want to bring all 80 pots inside.

I put all my tomato seedlings back in the hay trailer. But it is better then loosing them. 10 boxes to just move all of them.
