| It's time again for the Maplewood Garden Club Plant Sale, billed in last year's Star Ledger as "The Big Momma" of plant sales. Probably the biggest (dare I say BEST?) plant sale in the state of NJ. So if you want some great deals on interesting and beautiful plant material, head over to the Maplewood Pool (off Springfield Ave on Boyden Ave).
Here are the hours:
5/8 - noon - 8 P.M.
5/9 - 8 A.M. - 8 P.M.
5/10 - 8 A.M. - 4 P.M.
What you'll find:
Annuals, Sun/Part-Shade/Shade Perennials, Herbs, Vegetable Seedlings (including some Ramapo tomatoes), Houseplants, Hanging Baskets, Pottery, Floral Gift Baskets, Trees, Shrubs and more. This year, we're also featuring a good number of very cool varieties of coleus we tended over the winter. For those of you who've never been, we also feature a "Member Grown" section where you'll find great buys (like for $1.00!) on plants our members have dug from their own yards - to make room for the great things they're gonna buy THIS year - or have had great success at propagating. |
