Are you looking for a garden center or to purchase dormant rhizomes? Where in Jersey are you located? I see irises at almost all garden centers.

I'd prefer plants, specifically German bearded iris i already have yellow and was hoping to find a different colors. I did find yellow and purple plants at fullerton garden center. in Ledgewood , Morris County.

I'm not familiar with any garden centers up there, unfortunately, but I have seen a variety of irises at Home Depot and Lowes sometimes. If you want to travel, I know of some other garden centers that have more variety, but it's sometimes hard to find them. I've started collecting them and have yet to find a good local source of irises. I have some white if you want to maybe do a trade. When the rest of mine bloom, I might have more to trade as well.

You may want to check out the The Presby Memorial Iris Gardens in Montclair. They should be starting to bloom now as mine are opening. You can buy a surprise package of rhizomes from them. Below is the details for this. The following link is the story.

I got all my iris last year at Home Depot in Piscataway. They were potted. They even had the variegated type, and in July they went on sale because not all of them had sold. I would ask at your local Home Depot whether they plan to carry them.
