Hi everybody, well, I don't know where to begin with this, so I'm starting with the NJ Gardening forum since I saw it in New Jersey, along the GSP and I haven't the faintest idea what it is. Insects? Disease? other?

Some years they are worse and more noticible than others. This year is a bad one.

Yes , to be correct , they are eastern tent catterpillars and they love wild Cherry trees . Rick

My dad used to climb a ladder and torch the suckers when I was a kid. They smelled awful.
