Need help identifying a bug. Last year I spotted this bug on my squash, zucchini and cukes. Due to illness my garden is really late this year and figs are the only real thing going. I squish 5-10 on each plant everyday. They don't seem to cause much damage, YET. Its soft bodied, mainly black with red/orange and has what looks like spikes all over. I don't think it flies, just crawls. They range from a sixteenth to 3 eights of an inch long. Can anybody help identify this critter?
