For the first time, I noticed Japanese beetles on my veggie plants. They are pretty much devastating the leaves.
Planted in a new location this year, never planted here before.
Should I just keep hand picking, or are there any organic controls I can use.

It may be too late for this year, but next year try planting 4 O'clocks. I used to have a huge Japanese beetle problem, but since I have been planting 4 0'clocks- I never see them.
I can't remember - either the 4 oclocks repel them, or they attract them and they eat the the 4 oclocks leaves and die.
