Email Spike about it becoming a faq. It is very nicely done and informative. I wonder about a way to finish it off so it doesn't look like plastic tubs like wrapping it in burlap or something?

On page 5, you have a diagram drawing. I think this should come in the begining as a general overview before you start explaining the parts. You should also note that the wicking chamber and the screen supports are one piece that serves two purposes - 'wicking chamber/screen supports. Or just call them wicking chambers and explain they have the added use of supporting the screen when you introduce them.
Also on your diagram drawing:
On the side view, you should show the fill tube. You can show it as a dashed line to indicate that it happens beyond or before the section at the wicking chamber.
Secondly, the wicking chambers on the plan view should align with the section, so to be clear, draw them on both sides of the top view.
Thirdly, would it be difficult to indicate the overflow holes?
And finally, the seperation screen on the top view could be indicated with some type of hatching.

What program did you use to draw the diagram? If I had my autocad still, I would do it for you.

I was so happy to find this heading, but I can't find a link to download the instructions to make self watering containers. Can anyone help me?
