Metropolitan Plant Exchange in Paramus NJ; 40% off; July 2010

7 day sale, hopefully to be extended like last year, June 29th thru July 5th.

40% off everything in the entire store & garden center (excludes fresh flowers & wire orders).

Fort Lee, Paramus, West Orange

Went earlier this spring (Paramus) and they appeared more overpriced than usual. 40% off will bring it to a more tempting purchase.

Good Luck & enjoy...

They've really gone upscale in the past few years (just in time for an economy that tanked). I've been going to them for years (the Ft. Lee branch mostly), less so now--got hooked on the better HD's and especially Lowe's garden centers. Still, I'll check them out latter in the week. Thanks for the reminder. PS., One of my favorite garden centers in North Jersey is Strawberry Blossom's in Wayne--even though it's a bit of a ride.

I'll have to try that one out. The furthest west I've gotten in Ploch's in Clifton; love that place. I'll be hitting Fort Lee tomorrow, hopefully.

Sale extended until August 1, 2010.
Been to Paramus & Fort Lee; didn't really spend alot, but then I don't really need anything. Large pots are extremely overpriced, IMO, and still overpriced with the 40% discount. The deck rail planters are a fantastic price with the discount, but I stocked up on those last year. Stakes, trellises & obelisks were another big purchase of mine last year. Do need some herbs for my caterpillars, so I'll have to check it out...
