Does anyone know of an extensive and thorough list of trees, shrubs and plants that survive under a black walnut tree? I want to plant a service berry tree but there are so many different types (cultivars?). I am looking for a serviceberry that is relatively short (20'- 30") that can grow under a black walnut tree. So far the "Amelancier Spp." is the only one I have found (so far) that can grow under this tricky tree...Thanks in advance!
