There are several of these growing along the road, wooded uplands.

Please don't tell me that this is going to be a Showy Lady's Slipper. If it is, I'm going to have to act quickly to convince the township to not mow along the road.

Are they still growing?
If they are in danger and would love to move them to "safer" place.

They are still there, Yelena. Tewksbury Twp. seems to be late in mowing this year. However, Helleborines are also aliens and can be apparently somewhat invasive - just what we don't need. I think I'm going to wait until they bloom and then knock them down myself. With all the stilt grass and mustard garlic along the roadside, as well as barberry, we don't need another invasive.
