It's a shame you live way up there because I have a place by me (Burlington County) with a lot of diversity with hosta's. I bought a few a couple years ago and they were so thickly clumped I split them right when I got home. I must of got 4 plants from each one. I've since split them and now I have 12 of each that need to be split again.

Hey datdog, I got mine at McNaughtons over by Kaminski's (bar). Yea, they were a bit pricey when I did buy them but like I said, they must of had 25 types and all of them were packed with root. Some were as much as $30 bucks but most were about $15-$21 bucks. At first I thought I was crazy for spending that on Hosta's but now I'm glad I did. I have nice hosta's everywhere.
