Beetles?

Posted by bigwuhead (My Page) on

We have seen 4 beetles in the last two days. I believe they are all the same type, but of varying sizes. 2 were HUGE and the other two were what I would term medium. We've mostly seen them around at night. We did manage to kill two of them. I don't remember seeing them the last two years i've lived in this house, so i'm curious if this is a new thing, or maybe because of the rain.

They are black, more oblong than round and are hard to kill!! Haha.

Anyone know what they might be or what the deal is with them? Are they harmful to anything?

Thanks!

RE: Beetles?

Find out, first, if something is harmful, before you kill it. Some beetles are helpful and some live in rotten logs and hardly affect us, but feed the wildlife.
