Too late for echinicea?

Posted by staceychev 6/Camden County (My Page) on

I bought some of those bagged echinicea/cone flowers from Home Depot--they're just the bulb, I guess (are they bulbs or rhizomes?). Anyway, I forgot I had them, and now I'm wondering if I can still plant them now? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Just do it. The worse that could happen is that they are already dead.

Bagged echinacea? I don't think I've ever seen one bagged!
Definitely plant it now; good luck!

Hi Stacey

Let me know if they don't sprout, and you want a clump. I'm in Cherry Hill and have plenty.
