Where to get rid of rocks in Morris County

Does anyone have any ideas on where to unload rocks in Morris County.

I have been chucking them out behind office buildings and supermarkets, but am afraid someone will eventually get upset.

I am near Parsippany.

What kind of rocks? You might be able to advertise them here and get rid of them or freecycle them. I advertised the little red rock that a previous owner used all around my house. One of the gardenweb folks came and we dug them out. She made wonderful paths all through her garden with them. Many of us use rocks for various purposes in our gardens. Another option is freecycle -- see link below.

Like Maria says, "What kind of rocks? How big?" I use
rock in my gardens all the time, but since I live within 13
miles of the shore, there isn't much lying around - I usually have to bring it in from the Delaware River bed or
out-of-state . . . you'd be amazed what other gardeners will snap up that you can't wait to get rid of. . . !

Dave,
You might just post what kind of rocks you are getting rid of. I've had neighbors get rid of rocks just by putting up a sign.
