Glass Mulch

Does anyone know of a source for glass mulch in NJ? The Stone Center in Bridgewater doesn't carry it and they said that they won't. We're looking for it not so much as mulch but to add to the landscape as "faux water" in our "faux brook". I've seen mail order sources online but the shipping is too prohibitive. Anybody come across this in NJ - we're in Somerset County. TIA ~ Lorraine

in our faux lifestyle in our faux New Jersey.

Just kidding Lorraine. I know the firm as they were once a small client of ours and I've been on premisis many times.

For what it's worth, I have a sizable sea glass collection, though the greens (ala Heineken's) predominate. Let me know if you're at all interested.

Thanks Birdsong for the offer of the sea glass, but I couldn't impose on your collection.

We just tried to camouflage a run-off ditch on the side of the house to look a little better, the water only appears during heavy rain, thus the faux thing. So basically now it looks like a dry creek bed. My dh built a little bridge over it to continue the path to the front door. We're having a hard time with the landscaping plants in that area. What the deer haven't eaten have not fared well and we're still experimenting to find the right mix. We'll just keep trying. ~ Lorraine

Glass mulch sounds like a maintenance nightmare.
