First time growing Tomatoes and I got them at big box store since my father asked for them too late to start from seed.

At least there's a fungicide Rutgers recommends as a drench to prevent late blight development.

If I ever grow Tomatoes again I'll start my own.

I don't have anyone growing Tomatoes or much of anything nearby but wouldn't want spores traveling to nearby small growers/roadside stands.

I have no problems with my tomatoes this year. I have made them blight resistant from the get-go. The academic elite would say this can't be....which is why I don't listen to them and don't have this problem. What do you think solving this problem in the future would be worth to someone? That is to say, setting up a condition where the problem never takes hold in the first place. Prevention, ya know? Just curious.

How did you do it? Do I have to pay you to tell me?
