Crape Myrtles growth habit

Can we grow Crape Myrtles into multi stemmed tree forms? Planted 3 hardy late flowering crape myrtles in my southern exposure back yard 2 yrs ago that are doing well. (Wish I knew the variety!) Just wondering if they might ever reach small multi stemmed tree forms? Hoping for 8-10 feet.

I say, why not? This plant was purchased in a small pot at HD last year for $6.98. They grow too fast!

Pretty! That might actually be the one I have...it's just starting to flower now - very bright almost fuchsia/red blooms with green and copper leaves. This is their 3rd season in the ground and one of them is about my height (5'4) the other two notably smaller...so they definitely aren't breaking any growth rate records over here. But as long as I have something to look forward to - I will patiently wait. Thx for your help!!
