| Im interested in giving fall gardening a shot this year. Ive found some great posts on what veggies to try and Ive already got my seeds.
However, I would like to try planting some flower seeds to fill in bare spots and maybe get a jump on next year? Any thoughts on varieties, either perennial or annual, that will work? Thanks! Andrea |

| Andrea, you might want to check out the Winter Sowing Forum. They make it sound like even I should get some good results with this. I plan on trying it this winter after having seen some of the great results other people have had. Here's a link to their FAQ page. -- Lori |

| I tried this last year with columbines and it worked incredibly well, except that I sowed the seeds in early July and then transplanted the seedlings in September. They survived winter with no problem. |

| Many bulbs can be planted now for spring blooming. Check out Brecks Bulbs online. |
